• I can't believe how many racist people there are in the world. I work at a location where I interact with members of the community on a daily basis. A lot of them I have become fairly good friends with. However, I was shocked today to learn that a good portion of them were racist, and they went beyond just saying racial slurs like 'paki', which they ignorantly called a group of Sri Lanken's. They made comments about smell, their food, the way they acted. One old woman even said she got bad/negative vibes from them and wanted to know if others did too. One woman said she was moving out of the big city because of them. I couldn't believe how people were reacting, I thought racism was dead and people were mostly accepting of everyone, but I guess not. It's a shame too because these stupid people are spreading their message of hate not only to eachother but also their children.
• I don't know what Civic Holiday is but I'm not excited for it. I have to work and I don't get paid extra.
• I love my new cell phone and I have been using it non-stop since I bought it.
